Podcasts and New Media.
Sometimes I find myself in a situation where I don’t want to listen to music, but rather use a couple of brain cells trying to understand a topic, or just be entertained in a different way than music can provide. This is why I have, for a long, long time, been a fan of podcasts.
A podcast is a series of audio or video digital-media files which is distributed over the Internet by syndicated download, through Web feeds, to portable media players and personal computers. Though the same content may also be made available by direct download or streaming, a podcast is distinguished from other digital-media formats by its ability to be syndicated, subscribed to, and downloaded automatically when new content is added. – wikipedia
The great thing about podcasts is that there really is something for everyone. Just launch iTunes, go to the music store, click on podcasts and go nuts. I’m going to share with you a couple of my favorite podcasts.

I know a LOT of people already know how to use podcasts, so I don’t see any reason to teach you the inner workings of the concept. My only recommendation is to just experiment. Find something that you like, experience the community around the podcast and try to immerse yourself in the world of New Media.
